Evolution of a bathroom

As with most things in life, change occurs, but it might be so small, so subtle, that you do not detect it from one day to the next; like your children that you see every day seem the same, but to those who do not, they grow enormously!

The same is true of our space. I am always making changes, but I don't see the "big effect" because I do a little over a long time. I also do not have the best documentation of the changes. Anyhow, for fun, I'm posting some shots of my upstairs bathroom just to document how its changed over the course of four years.

When we moved into the house the bathroom was wallpapered with flowers and there was an offwhite to the ceiling

Circa 2012 Winter

I painted the walls chocolate brown about two years ago and have traded the changing table for a chest of drawers. I work there sometimes because this room is so light and cheerful.
